Pet Policy – Windsong Villas

To ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment for all residents and guests, Windsong Villas has adopted clear guidelines governing pet ownership and visitation. These policies apply to both unit owners and renters, and are enforced in accordance with the Association’s governing documents and Florida Statute 718.

General Pet Policy:

• Maximum of 3 domestic pets per unit is allowed.
• No more than 2 dogs are permitted per unit, and each must not exceed 80 lbs. in weight.
• All pets must be properly licensed and vaccinated, as required by Nassau County regulations.
• Pets must be leashed at all times when outside the unit.
• Owners must immediately clean up after their pets in all common areas.
• Pets are not permitted in the pool or pool deck area at any time.
• Excessive noise, aggression, or unsanitary conditions may result in enforcement action.

Rental-Specific Pet Guidelines:

• Renters are subject to the same pet restrictions as unit owners.
• Owners are responsible for informing their rental guests of pet rules and ensuring compliance.
• Violations by renters may result in fines or loss of rental privileges for the unit owner.

Reporting & Enforcement:

To report a non-emergency incident or rules violation involving pets (e.g., unleashed dogs, waste issues, aggressive behavior), contact AIPCA Security at (904) 277-5914.

In the event of an emergency involving an animal threat or injury, call 911 immediately.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in warnings, fines, or further action by the Board of Directors. The Association reserves the right to restrict or remove any pet that is deemed to pose a threat or cause a recurring disturbance within the community.
